Our two sites are quite popular and we get a lot of traffic.

Here are the URLs for our two sites. The one you are on now is www.battery-rechargeable-charger.com. We will call this site: Site B. Our other Site is www.batterylifesaver.com. We will call this site: Site A.

In order to boost traffic and "page rank" many site owners link to other sites in exchange for receiving a link from that other site. This has been a good thing to do, but recently the search engines are "aware" of this strategy and it is no longer the best, though usually still better than nothing.

Better Strategy

A better strategy is for one web site, example our Site A to link to Your Site (see illustration), in exchange for a link from Your Site to our Site B . That way there is no direct reciprocal linking and thus each link has more value.

Even better is to have each link go to a specific page within the web site (that best describes the reason for the link) rather than the home page.

And that is how we have built our strategy here.
