FASTER

Up to 2-3 times faster than traditional models, quickly starts engine! The Smart Charger delivers more amps, faster and much more efficiently, to start your vehicle in minutes, charge a dead battery, or restore an old, tired battery to near-new condition. Saves time and money!

STAGE 1 - BULK/RAPID START CHARGE

Faster than conventional type chargers, even in freezing or high temperatures, the charger delivers maximum charging amperage to "wake up" any 12 Volt battery and allows for quick engine starting after 3 minutes (based on a serviceable, discharged, mid-size vehicle battery*). When it reaches a maximum safe predetermined voltage, the digital sensors automatically move into stage 2 of the charging process. (*starting time is based on model VEC090 2/10/20 amp.)

SAFER

Reverse hook-up, short circuit and over-charging protection! Cannot overcharge any type of vehicle 12 Volt battery. Internal microprocessor digital controls protect vehicle's electrical system and sophisticated onboard electronics by regulating charge levels at a maximum safe predetermined level.

STAGE 2- ABSORPTION CHARGE

Maintains the maximum possible charge at a constant safe predetermined voltage. During this (stage 2) voltage absorption regulation charge, the charging voltage remains constant, while the actual charging current is reduced to allow for the maximum proper internal chemical energy transfer.

SMARTER

Three stage charging ensures full 100% charge! Delivers 100% of its rated output, automatically sensing and distributing the appropriate, maximum amount of power throughout every step of the charging process. Vector's proven new technology ensures that this charger is always charging to it's full rated output anywhere, regardless of AC power quality or extension cord length. STAGE 3 - TOP-OFF CHARGE

Voltage is automatically maintained and reduced to a predetermined level while current is adjusted for a safe, effective 100% charge (step-down regulation mode). Ideal for topping off batteries that have been in storage. Automatic shut-off at 100% charge - you can trust this charger to never overcharge any battery, or cause pressure leaking of acid, even if it is left unattended while charging in hot summer temperatures.

DIGITAL DIAGNOSTIC DISPLAY

Exclusive Digital LED Display shows Amps and various Diagnostic Battery Fault Codes to determine actual condition.

ALTERNATOR VOLTAGE CHECK

Can determine if the alternator is outputting within typical voltage range. NOTE: Alternators and electrical systems vary widely, so some indications may not be completely accurate. The test conditions, procedures and possible problems are fully described in the User's Guide. After an electrical system warm-up period of ten minutes, the test takes five seconds. An Alternator Good LED lights if the alternator is within typical range.

RECONDITION

New electronic pulse technology reverses the natural insulating sulfate buildup on plates in as little as 12 to 24 hours. Reduces the buildup, significantly improving the charge carrying capability to near- new levels. Hook up the charger, push the RECONDITION button and the rest is automatic. Of course, shorted or open cells will not be fixed.

Vector's Pure DC Output Current

Compared To Conventional Charger Output - Pure DC Output - output current provides a faster, more complete and stable charge. Charger output can not damage sensitive electronics that may be operating while charging. The output is 100% true to specifications. Many conventional chargers Pulsating DC Output is significantly below rated amperage specifications. Compare the wave forms taken from calibrated laboratory instrumentation and see the difference. Actual measurements are based on use of a Vector 10 Amp Smart Battery Charger and a conventional 10 Amp charger.
